When Alicia said she was getting married at Big Cottonwood Canyon and she really wanted to capture the beauty of this mountain, my heart sang. We were Pinterest buddies for months and even before we met, I could tell we were creative kindred spirits and our photography wants and style were exactly in sync. I was so excited when the beautiful day finally came.
Alicia and Russell's mountain wedding was absolutely lovely and intimate. They were joined by only their closest friends and family, and everyone was fully present for them. Alicia's mother took her daughter's hand and lead her bridesmaids in prayer. Alicia's son walked his mother down the aisle. Their ceremony was officiated by Alicia's brother. The bride and groom wrote their own vows, and everyone smiled at Russell's promises to not leave his socks laying around everywhere. Alicia cried through all of this.
And when her nineteen year old daughter read her toast, no one's eyes were dry. Her daughter talked about how Russell was a shining example of how a man ought to treat the woman he loves and everyone got choked up. Including me.
Thank you Alicia and Russell for trusting me to capture your beautiful day. I had a blast with you two, and loved every minute of it. We can’t wait for you to see all the photos, but for now, here’s just a few of my many favorites!
