Drew told Monet that they were going to Log Haven in Millcreek canyon to celebrate his mother's birthday. But that was a lie (I mean, I'm sure Drew's mother has a birthday in August, but that wasn't the primary focus of the day haha)
His plan was to arrive early. The staff would tell them that they were early for their dinner reservation and recommend that they go on a walk among the grounds. In particular, they should check out the beautiful waterfall across the street.
This was going to be where Drew would ask Monet a very important question.
Funnily, Drew and Monet arrived to Log Haven late because Monet had forgot the birthday present she had prepared for Drew's mother. Nonetheless, the plan was carried out as planned and the couple ended up in front of the waterfall. Drew got on one knee. Monet cried and said yes.
That's when they were joined by both of their families.
