Every wedding is different. Every wedding should be different because every couple and every love story is unique. You want to throw a wedding that reflects who you are and here are a few potential ways to do so:
1. Celebrate Your Culture
The groom, the groomsmen, and the bride's father rocked sharp, black suits during the ceremony. However, for the reception, they all changed into Barongs to celebrate their Filipino culture.
2. Celebrate your Nerdy
One of my gorgeous brides, Allison loves Dinosaurs. So they got dozens of miniature dinosaur figurines for their name cards at their reception tables. And on their couple's center table, they had a rainbow candle to celebrate their LGBT pride with an even bigger dinosaur.
3. Unconventional Clothing Details
Super nice picture right? Did you notice the groom's shoes? He had limited edition Allbirds shipped from New York. Totally worth it because he claims they are the most comfortable shoes ever. And that totally counts as something blue ;)
4. Songs You Love
Tiffany loves country music, so Logan took her to a country music concert. He kissed her for the first time on the very last song. Guess what their song choice for their first dance was.
5. Include things you love
Alan is an Engineer for San Francisco Municipal Transportation. He public transportation and he loves Courtney. Their initials are AC. Coincidentally, the public transportation in the Bay Area is called AC Transit. They also chose a Reception location right next to a train station.
