The to-do list of wedding tasks may seem a little bit overwhelming. I hate to add one more thing to your list, but this one is fun - choosing your wedding hashtag! When your guests use your hashtag on everything they post from your wedding day, you can create a curated feed of your-wedding-specific guest images.
1. Choose something Memorable!
Puns/rhymes work especially well and make your hashtag way more fun. A long, wordy hashtag might be very specific to your wedding, but no one will be able to remember/use it.
2. Search to be sure your tag isn't already being used!
Take a few minutes to search Instagram and Facebook before you commit to your hashtag. You want everything in the feed to be relevant to you!
3. Capitalize the first letter of each word
Instagram and Facebook don't care about whether you capitalize or not, but the people reading your hashtag will! Capitalizing each word makes the phrase easier to read. Once you've chosen your hashtag you need to share it with your guests! Include it on your own wedding related social media posts, invitations, or ceremony program to get the word out! Then just sit back and watch posts hit your feed!
