It's been a hot second since I shot for fun. And like the last time I photographed recreationally, I reached out to dancers. They're just made for the camera.
I reached out to Head-Royce, a high school in Oakland and had a wonderful time coordinating some magic with the captains of the dance team. This dance team is so dedicated that they give up their lunches to practice student-choreographed pieces. We ran around campus in pointe shoes as other students stopped to watch and admire.
And on top of being crazy hard working, talented, flexible (like seriously what the heck), all these girls were so incredibly sweet and wonderful. Thanks for giving up lunch with me <3
